The next Borders Performing Arts Forum will take place on Monday 23rd July at the new Music Theatre Scotland Venue in Newcastleton run by Gary Adams and Mike Lyons.  CABN will be running a minibus from Galashiels to Newcastleton and back.

The format of the day will be a chance to get together, tour the venue, which Gary and Mike are keen to offer rehearsal space to Performing Arts Practitioners.  Claire Pencak, CABN's Performing Arts Advocate, will provide updates on Forum initiatives, and it will also be a chance to hear short presentations from Borders Performing Arts Practitioners and also from Alex Rigg of the Tide Machine/Oceanallover project in Dumfries and Galloway.

Anita Clark from Creative Scotland will also be attending.  Anita is Portfolio Manager Festivals, Touring and Dance, and will present information on Creative Scotland support for Performing Arts.   Anita will also be able to answer questions from the Forum.  If you would like to submit a question for Anita, it would be great if you could e-mail this to us ahead of the Forum.  If you are not able to attend on the 23rd, but would still like to pose a question to Anita, again, please e-mail us.
