Everyone is welcome to come and celebrate the quality and diversity of creative work happening in the Scottish Borders at the annual MANIFEST event – an informal event to round off the year for makers, producers and supporters of creativity and culture
As well as a great event for networking, catching up with other creatives and meeting new people, MANIFEST is an opportunity to showcase the wealth of projects that have happened and work that has been made in 2017. There will be short guest performances on stage from 8.15pm, which we will confirm shortly.
The event takes place in the beautiful old church space at MacArts in Galashiels. The bar will be open from 7.15pm, some nibbles will be provided but please feel free to bring your favourite snack/dish to share.
We hope you can make it along!
Dress Code: Dress Fancy / Seasonal Fancy Dress / or simply come as you are!
This is a free event, however, booking is essential. To RSVP please email Kay McCluskey on kay.mccluskey@liveborders1.org.uk or text Mary Morrison on 07789944993 no later than 12.00noon on Tuesday 12 December 2017.

Throughout the event, we will be projecting your images from 2017 as part of a rolling slideshow showcasing creativity of all forms. Please send us pictures/images to showcase your ‘creative 2017’. In 2017, have you, for example:
- made a new artwork, written something, had a great gig or performance, released an album?
- organised or taken part in an exhibition?
- designed a great website or advertising campaign?
- delivered an event, project or festival?
- won an award for you or your organisation?
- volunteered, pitched in, supported creative projects?
- delivered imaginative creative projects with young people, adults, wider community?
Please e-mail your images (5- 10 images) to: kay.mccluskey@liveborders1.org.uk by Monday 4 December 2017. Images should be good quality, and each individual image no more than 2MB please. If you are sending more than 5 images please send in separate e-mails as our server can only cope with attachments of up to 12MB at a time.
Please don’t use file sharing like We Transfer or Dropbox as unfortunately we can’t access these systems through our server.
Please label you images with your name/project and let us know if there are any permissions/copyright/credits to be added, as we’d like to share these on-line too. If you are not able to make it to the event on the 13th, we’d still love to receive your images for the slideshow – you are part of the picture!
