March Gathering of Scottish Borders Cultural Forum
Monday 26 March 2018, 6pm for 6.30pm – 8.30pm (Please RSVP!)
Venue: Cross Keys Hotel, The Square, Kelso, Scotland, TD5 7HL
The March meeting will be very informal with everyone invited to continue to reflect on, in small groups, the aims and objectives of the Scottish Borders Cultural Forum and the way forward. Even if you have never been to a gathering before please do come along as all are welcome and we need as many voices as possible!
The Scottish Borders Cultural Forum has evolved out of a series of discussions and workshops attended by a broad range of individuals and organisations from the local cultural sector and is open to anyone interested in the aims and values of the Forum. It supports the work of the local cultural sector by creating a space for networking, sharing concerns, ideas and resources and finding solutions to common problems. The Forum comes together informally on a regular monthly basis in different locations and provides a social get together, a discussion and a lively cultural experience. It is a champion not just for the cultural sector but also for culture’s role in the economy, environment, education, health and the quality of life that is so important to the Scottish Borders.
Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements.
The event is free but places must be booked in advance. To reserve your place, please email admin a email@example.com or call 01750 726400 no later than 11am on Monday 26 March 2018.
Attendees at previous gatherings have found the delegate list useful in terms of following up on conversations with specific people or organisations enabling the exchange of information and contacts.
We will be putting together a delegate list (which will include your email address) for this Gathering so please let us know if you DO NOT wish to be included. It would be useful when booking if you could indicate which job title and business/organisation name you would like us to include.
Remember you can engage with the Scottish Borders Cultural Forum via their Facebook page.
