CABN, Marchmont Estate and Creative Informatics present Creative Informatics Lab#18 : Crossing Creative Borders on Wednesday 29 September 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.  Join us online LIVE from Marchmont House to find out how data and technology are being used to shape the future of the region’s key creative industries and exploring opportunities for collaboration and innovation across creative sectors.

The Borders is home for many fantastic artists and makers that draw inspiration from the region’s rich creative heritage. We’ll be joined by Hugo Burge from Marchmont House, who has redeveloped this historic building as a multipurpose space, with an emphasis on creativity and traditional crafts supported by the Marchmont Makers Foundation.

Hugo is joined by a panel of guest speakers who include designer, entrepreneur and academic, Lynne Craig, a co-founder of creative innovation studio Holiton and contemporary knitwear designer Jeni Allison.  Writer and publisher Jules Horne will also be contributing as well as Kenny Mitchell who is the Chair of Video Game Technology at Edinburgh Napier University and Technical Director of Rendering at Roblox Corporation.

You can register for this FREE and ONLINE event HERE.
