Get Behind the Borderlands Bid for City of Culture 2025

South of Scotland Enterprise (SoSE) are calling for everyone in the creative community to Get Behind the Borderlands Bid for City of Culture 2025.  This ambitious bid for Borderlands (comprising Dumfries and Galloway, Scottish Borders, Carlisle City, Cumbria and Northumberland) to win the prestigious title of the City of Culture 2025 has now been launched.  Up to six locations will be shortlisted and announced towards the end of September with successful applicants asked to submit their full bids by January 2022.  The bid team are asking for the support of the creative community as a highly valued industry partner to help raise awareness of the bid so that they can get the extra support they need to help reach the shortlist.
