The CABN Evolve Steering Group have now met eight times, with recent conversations focusing on the new freelance ‘Catalyst’ posts for CABN. Funding has been committed from the Scottish Borders Place Partnership (Creative Scotland & Scottish Borders Council) and SoSE (South of Scotland Enterprise) to create two new CABN Catalyst Roles to lead CABN through a 12 month transition process, while maintaining the network engagement and support.
This will be the first step towards CABN becoming an independent, creative sector led organisation.

‘It has been really important to work with an independent Steering Group to get to this point, their time and commitment, given on a voluntary basis, has been incredible.  I can’t thank them enough for their ideas, their knowledge and their ability to engage in lively and challenging conversations.

There is an incredible wealth of experience in the group, and the future of CABN will be better for their input.‘  Mary Morrison, CABN Leader
