Scottish Borders Cultural Forum | November Gathering
Monday 26 November 2018, 6.30 – 8.30pm (Save the Date)
Venue: Eastgate Theatre, Peebles
Everyone with an interest in culture, heritage and the arts is invited to the next Scottish Borders Cultural Forum. The forum is an informal event – a chance to network, find out about local projects and initiatives and this month is kindly hosted by the Eastgate Theatre and Arts Centre in Peebles.
We will have short presentations from:
- Caroline Adam, General Manager, Eastgate Theatre & Arts Centre who will give an update about the Eastgate’s capital project and exciting opportunities for collaborations at the opening extravaganza.
- Mary Morrison, CABN, will update on a developing network for Arts & Wellbeing, building on the momentum of the RISE : Arts & Mental Health Symposium which took place in May.
Following the presentations there will be a chance for discussion and exchange, including highlighting any events or projects you may wish to let people know about. We will also be looking forward to 2019 in terms of Cultural Forum activity.
The Cultural Forum supports the work of the local cultural sector by creating a space for networking, sharing concerns, ideas and resources and finding solutions to common problems. The Forum comes together informally on a regular monthly basis in different locations and provides a social get together, a discussion and a lively cultural experience. It is a champion not just for the cultural sector but also for culture’s role in the economy, environment, education, health and the quality of life that is so important to the Scottish Borders. Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Please advise when booking if you have any special dietary requirements. The event is free but places must be booked in advance.

We will be putting together a delegate list (which will include your email address) for this Gathering so please let us know if you DO NOT wish to be included. It would be useful when booking if you could indicate which job title and business/organisation name you would like us to include.
