CABN Evolving the Model | 13.10.22

Cabnevolving

We are currently in the process of interviewing and recruiting to the CABN Catalyst roles.

There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to collate information and data which can be handed over once the new Catalysts are in post.  The Calalyst roles will be freelance, so in order to support them and administer payments from the funding* for the 12 month CABN Transition phase, we are working with a ‘Host Organisation’.  The Catalysts will not be employees of the host organisation, but we needed to work with an organisation with experience of managing distinct, externally funded projects.  We approached several organisations who we felt could deliver this support and who may have synergies with CABN going forwards.

We’re absolutely delighted to say that the organisation we’ll be working with is Southern Upland Partnership.  They have a strong track record of supporting economic, environmental and cultural work in the Scottish Borders and beyond and CABN has worked closely with them during the development and piloting of the Connecting Threads project.

*The CABN Transition phase (Nov 2022-Nov 2023) is supported through funding from the Scottish Borders Place Partnership (Creative Scotland and Scottish Borders Council) and SoSE.
