Kayleigh Adam Connecting Threads Creative Intern Appointed August 2021

In partnership with CABN Connecting Threads has appointed Heriot Watt University – Design for Textiles graduate, Kayleigh Adam, as a creative intern.

Since completing her degree Kayleigh has established a textile and illustration business and sells her own products and designs online.  With Connecting Threads, Kayleigh is looking forward to developing her photography and graphic design skills to document and share the project work that has taken place.  She hopes to learn more about the arts and culture sector in the Scottish Borders and feels the opportunity at Connecting Threads will be a great stepping stone for her future career in the arts.

Connecting Threads is the cultural strand of Destination Tweed – an ambitious project led by Tweed Forum and supported by The Southern Uplands Partnership. It aims to conserve, celebrate and promote the river Tweed from beyond the source to the sea.
