Photographing Your Artwork
Do you struggle photographing your artwork?
Do you need tips on how to level up your photography skills without professional equipment?
Look no further…!
CABN has partnered with Art UK photographers Colin White and Jessie Maucor to deliver a webinar that aims to help you get better results to showcase your work, whether for your portfolio, website, exhibition submissions or for your archives. Colin and Jessie have 40 years of experience between them in photographing art, both in and out of museums and galleries. The ONLINE session that they have designed will take you from set-up to output, covering questions related to equipment, camera settings, image processing and workflow.
The Photographing Your Artwork webinar is on Wednesday 20th October from 10:00am -12:00pm. It is FREE and you can register HERE.
PLEASE NOTE: Prior to the webinar, by Monday 11 October, please fill in this survey so that Colin and Jessie can target your training needs.
Earlier this year CABN conducted a survey into the impacts of Covid 19 on individual businesses and support needs. Much of this was around upskilling in the digital realm we are delighted to be promoting the Photographing your Artwork webinar with Art UK on Wednesday 20 October. This was specifically requested as a need in the survey and is aimed at artists, makers, designers and those working with collections and archives – whether in a museum or gallery context.
Having strong, high quality images of your work is essential and more so now with the focus on digital in terms of audiences and markets. As well as selling online, if you are submitting proposals or applying for funding, the quality of your images can make or break an application so you are encouraged to sign up for this training which is scheduled ahead of our next South of Scotland VACMA deadline.
